Authentication

As part of the preparation to launch the new multispecies platform, we have taken onboard learnings from the Sheep service, and intend to review the way that authentication is handled both internally within Livestock Information, but also with respect to how software providers can connect to the LIS service.

We are currently exploring options with DEFRA – Digital, Data & Technology (DDTS) to provide a strategic solution for authentication, that can address historic concerns with the previous approach to authentication.
