Using the Developer Hub

1. Before you start

   • Find out which APIs are available on the Developer Hub
   • Read our terms of use
   • Follow our Tutorials and Best Practices
   • Read about B2C Tokens
   • Read up on how your application will need to authenticate with our Livestock Information Service

2. Create an account

   Once you have created an account, you will be able to:

   • Register your application details in LI system
   • Raise a request to access LIS API in sandbox and Production environment
   • Retrieve and utilize API URL and other credential details enabling you to build you application
   • Add team members in your profile enabling them to use the same credentials

3. Test Accounts and Test Data

   • LIS CLA API for sheep movements submissions is user authenticated which means you would be required to enter “Sign in name” and “password” on the third-party sign in screen when using the API.
   • You can now generate test accounts and test data via Developer Hub to start developing your application against the CLA sandbox API. The prerequisite to generating Test data and accounts is that you should have an active and approved subscription to “CLA API Sandbox”
